thank you ..|||Chromium is the open-source project behind the Google Chrome browser

http://www.chromium.org/

Google just took Chromium %26amp; modified it to their likings, nothing wrong with that, you can do that with open-source software. However, there are those that say Google actually took Chromium %26amp; built spyware into it.

So to avoid this whole controversy, just use Chromium, I use it on Linux, %26amp; I cannot tell the difference.

By the way, here is the link to Chrome 10

Chrome 11

Remember, currently Chrome 9 is the stable version.

Edit:

Isn't it funny how people change the facts a little without showing proof, notice that I use links to prove my facts:

"Chromium is the open source web browser project from which Google Chrome draws its source code"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_%2鈥?/a>

And my Daddy can beat up your Daddy

http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZSHWPTX6PBBBAUAP鈥?/a>|||*chuckles* Google wrote Chromium too. They are both based off of WebKit though, but that's another thing.

At any rate, here's the link to the direct download:

Click on "click here" to get the .exe

UPDATE: and who do you think wrote Chromium? Magic Fairies? Google. wrote. it. Google continues to develop it. Google is the SOLE DEVELOPER of it.

From that Wikipedia article you failed to read:

"Because Chromium is the open source project that results in releases of Google Chrome, the history of the two is intertwined. Chromium is a project, making all releases developmental, with Chrome being the official release. Google Chrome was first introduced in September 2008 and along with its release the Chromium source code was also made available allowing builds to be constructed from it. "

Also:

"In September 2008, Google released a large portion of Chrome's source code, including its V8 JavaScript engine, as an open source project entitled Chromium"
