thanks.|||Google Chrome is a browser which is just a program installed on your computer to access the internet. Firefox, Opera, ... are also browsers. These browsers are independent of each other. You can:
- Un-install the Google Chrome
- Not use it
- Use another browser, and leave Chrome as is
- Use more than 1 browser at the same time
- ...
To have more flexibility, install more than one browser and try them. Each one has their own good features that others may not have.

This means that you can switch between them as you please. If you make a certain browser your default then Windows will use that one to open all websites with.
